Blunt were born out of the frustration and hatred of todays corrupt music industry and its Fat Cats, so please remember :
WE DO NOT DO 'FREE' GIGS
All the failed musicians calling themselves 'promotors' who peddle their promises of stardom IF you sell 100 tickets for them at a festival they are 'inviting' you to play at, can F*CK OFF.
All the bar/club booking agents who never even consider giving a band a gig unless they guarentee 30 or more people turning up, can F*CK OFF to. The Sex Pistols played infront of 23 people at Mancherster Free Trade Hall in 1976.
All those record companies who dont give a f**k about their acts, and only care about how much money they can make out of a band, can do one too. Two words and the second one is OFF. LEECHES.
Blunt dont need you. Our music and attitude is what we are about, and we dont give a flying f*ck what you have to 'offer' us.
We are Punk and we will not have the piss taken out of us.
Be nice - and we will be nice.
For us to play your venue you will have to do the desent thing and offer some gas money, especially if you are charging at the door !
That is our stance.
